Design of a mixed use tower
Inspired by the vibrant, organic patterns of Nigerian textiles and the structured form of a modern tower, this design blends tradition with contemporary architecture. The concept revolves around interwoven single-dwelling units, strategically spaced to create breathable negative spaces that enhance natural ventilation and light.
Lush greenery is seamlessly integrated through rooftop gardens, forming a dense, layered cluster reminiscent of a rainforest canopy. The transparent commercial podium holds the textile-inspired façade at its base, embodying Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. Topped with tan lush, earthy tones, it echoes the vast, golden landscapes of the African savanna, grounding the tower in its natural and cultural context.
